Born from a passionate legacy in Norwich, Iceni Archers has been on a transformative journey since 2018, led by a strong committee with a shared love for the sport. Our ethos is ‘Focus, Form, Trust’. Above all, we want to empower people to enjoy archery through fun and education.
We combine skill development, camaraderie and a dash of rebellious spirit, and we invite members from every corner of Norfolk to discover the Iceni difference. Whether you are new to archery or a seasoned pro, or somewhere in between, everyone is welcome to join us in shooting arrows, sharing laughs, and building memories as an Iceni Archer.

Training & Coaching
At Iceni Archers, we understand that the true essence of archery lies in mastering the art of 'Archery Shooting Form'.
As well as ongoing informal coaching, we have regular training sessions that are carefully put together by experienced coaches who love their sport. We do our best to ensure that every member, from novice to seasoned archer, receives the right training for them, with an emphasis on ‘Form and Focus’.
Joining Iceni Archers was one of the best decisions I've ever made. The emphasis on 'Form and Focus' has provided a clarity and purpose to my practice that I never had before.

How often are the free coaching sessions held?
Our free coaching sessions for club members are held once a month. These sessions emphasise ‘Archery Shooting Form’ and help members refine their skills.
Can I participate in club events and competitions as a new member?
Yes, all members, regardless of their experience level, are encouraged to participate in club events and competitions. Joining in is a great way to learn, improve, and get to know your fellow archers.
What safety measures does the club implement during shooting sessions?
Safety is our utmost priority. We adhere strictly to Archery GB standards, ensuring that all members are well-versed in safety protocols. All beginners are taught how to shoot safely and properly by our qualified coaches.
Do you offer indoor shooting facilities?
Yes, indoor shooting facilities allow our members to practice all year round, irrespective of the weather.
I’m a beginner. Do you offer training for novices?
Absolutely! We pride ourselves on our commitment to nurturing new talent. Our certified coaches offer regular training sessions tailored for beginners to help you understand the basics and improve your shooting form.
Are there age restrictions for joining the club?
Our primary age range is 18 to 74, but those under 18 or older than 74 are considered on a case-by-case basis. Please get in touch with us if you have specific concerns about age eligibility.
